IPOH: Spritzer Bhd and Yee Lee Corporation Bhd collectively donated RM1 million to the Tabung Harapan Malaysia (THM) here, on Saturday.

Spritzer Bhd research and development director, Dr Chuah Chaw Teo said, the company felt compelled to do its part to help the government tackle its financial woes.

“Based on the spirit of patriotism, as true Perak natives, we are proud to join other Malaysians in donating to THM.
“This contribution also marks our way of showing support for the new government’s initiatives to shape the country for a better future,” he told a press conference at Wisma DAP Perak on Saturday.

Earlier, a mock RM1 million cheque to THM was presented by Yee Lee Corporation Bhd group chief executive officer Lim Ee Young and Spritzer Bhd executive director Lam Sang to Perak DAP chairman, Nga Kor Ming.

Nga, meanwhile, said the contribution is commendable as it is the largest donation to the fund to date from a corporation in Perak.
