Yee Lee Edible Oils Sdn Bhd (YLEO) is involved in the refinery of palm oil and in the manufacturing of high quality cooking oils, margarine and shortening. It has earned respectable reputation for product innovation and quality-being the first in Malaysia to introduce PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottles and non-drip nozzles for its cooking oils. Through years of research and development, it has developed an oil refining process that retains up to 90% of Vitamin E in cooking oil, an achievement that won the recognition of the Swiss Vitamin Institute.
YLEO attained the MS ISO 9001:2000 certification from the Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) in 1996, Halal certified by JAKIM in 1996, and HACCP certified by Ministry of Health Malaysia since year 2006. YLEO has just obtained GMP certification. These certifications are acknowledgement of its good manufacturing practices and high quality in refining and fractionation of palm oil, processed fat and cooking oil products.
YLEO was awarded Certificate of Excellence under the Brand Excellence category 2009 by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry as part of its brand recognition by consumers. In 2013, YLEO has been certified with the National Mark of Malaysian Brand for its major cooking oil products.
