The Yee Lee Recreation and Sports Club raised RM1,880 during the annual recycling day event. To sustain our environment, we should all learn the benefits of recycling!

Close to 60 staff took time to donate blood and go through blood tests as part of our continual support of the blood bank and to create health awareness amongst employees.

Products worth RM760 were delivered to the Loyal Handicapped and Disabled Children Home Association aspart of our annual charity visits.

Yet another successful year of fundraising during the Poi Lam High School Ipoh Food Fair and the 58thAnniversary of the school. A total of RM600,000 was raised in aid of school facility upgrades and continuing education.

Yee Lee Corporation Bhd sponsored RM18,000 worth of Sabah Tea. Five thousand participants and a total fund raising amount of RM110,000 was achieved during this year’s Relay for Life 2013 event.

235 kids from the Methodist Kindergarten Canning Garden and the Methodist Girl’s Kindergarten Ipoh were treated to sponsorship items amounting to RM2,000 during their Annual Sports Day event.

RM14,500 worth of Sabah Tea were given as sponsorship for the World Kidney Day Run 2013. The event washeld to increase the awareness of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) amongst medical staff as well as members of the public. A fantastic sum of RM121,750was raised during this event.

No one deserves to go hungry in this day and age! Both Yee Lee Corporation Bhd and Spritzer Bhd jointly sponsored RM5,000 in cash as a contribution towards 130,000 dehydrated rice/soy meal packs for the needy, homeless and towards orphanages. This event was jointly organised by Vistage Malaysia, Stop Hunger Now Malaysia and Crystal Edge.

Donations in kind worth, in total, RM2,500 were provided as sponsorship for the Rangjung Yeshe DharmaSociety Perak (RYDSP). A simple gesture of care enlivened 300 needy families in and around Ipoh during the Chinese New Year celebrations.

The year’s Jamuan Teh Malaysia attracted 40 participants and raised RM375.00 for the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) and Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA).

Yee Lee Recreation and Sports Club joined forces with Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh and PantaiHospital Ipoh to organize blood test, blood donation and health screenings in order to give support to the blood bank and build up health awareness amongst employees.

Yee Lee participated and sponsored bottles of Spritzer Mineral Water during the NASAM World Stroke Day 2012 “Walk for Health".

A high-spirited campaign to encourage cancer survivors and remember loved ones lost to the disease attracted over a thousand people, and raised RM120,000.00.

Yee Lee once again supported Poi Lam High School’s Food Fair and it’s 57th School Anniversary. Over 180 stalls participating in the campaign. A huge amount of RM550,000.00 was raised for school facility upgrade and continuing education.

Yee Lee supported the St. John Ambulans Malaysia (Perak) by donating 150 units of ear thermometers to help the people in need.

Yee Lee Recreation and Sports Club lent a helping hand to the residents of Hannah Private Home. RM650.00 worth of products were given to assist the children in need.

Held at Yee Lee HQ, Ipoh, it was organized by Yee Lee Recreation and Sports Club in order to advocatethe importance of recycling. A total amount of RM1,264.50 was raised during this event.

The event was organized by Yee Lee Recreation and Sports Club at Yee Lee HQ, Ipoh, with the objective of raising funds for charity. A total amount of RM635.00 was achieved.

Held at three different schools, SM Raja Perempuan Taayah Ipoh, ACS Ipoh and Kindergarten, SK & SM Tarbiah Ipoh in order to promote the importance of good oral care practice. Yee Lee sponsored MorningKiss products in kind worth RM5,000.00 for this campaign.

This campaign was organized by Rangjung Yeshe Dharma Society Perak (RYDSP) to bring festive joy to the 350 needy families in and around Ipoh during Chinese New Year. The campaign raised a total amount of RM1,500.00.

Yee Lee Recreation & Sports Club has been particularly busy this year, arranging both Family Day and Paintball Games for all staff. Family Day this year saw 133 staff and their families enjoy a fun-filled day at The Lost World of Tambun, Ipoh. Whilst an outing of fun, team-building, strategy and competition was the measure of the day for paintball games, with a total of 8 teams and 40 participants scheming and shoting each other to find the eventual winner.

Yee Lee Recreation and Sports club gathered together to distribute essential goods and donate cash, to underprivileged children as part of their ongoing commitment to lessen the burden of those in need.

Held at Ipoh Parade, Ipoh, this Oral Health Awareness Campaign is a community project to ensure the dental health of all at large. With a theme of ‘Towards a Lifetime of Oral Wellness’, this campaign was launched by Datuk Heng Seai Kie, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development.

Yee Lee Group sponsored an amount of RM30,000 for the ‘Climb Beyond Disabilities’ event at Mt Kinabalu. As the participants were steadily ascending their way up the mountain, they were comforted in the knowledge that funds raised were going directly to different OKUs, some of which included the blind, spastic, those with Downs Syndrome and others of varying forms of disabilities.

Yee Lee Group, this year sponsored goods-in-kind to the values of RM32,675 for the KRI 12km Run 2011. The scenic run through Taman Rekreasi Sultan Abdul Aziz (Polo Ground) raised fund of RM9,600 for the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM). Around 1,350 participated to jointly create cancer awareness amongst the public.

Sabah Tea once again sponsored Jamuan Teh Malaysia to raise awareness and funds for the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia and the National Cancer Society Malaysia. All contributions garnered will go directly towards public education on the importance of early detection and preventative measures to minimize the threat of cancers.

Over 2,000 visitors visited this Expo to learn more on ways to promoting a healthier and sustainable lifestyle. Yee Lee sponsored goods-in-kind to the value of RM6,500. Funds raised amounted to RM23,000, which was donated to SJK Keng Koon and JKKK Simpang Ampat.

A total of RM260,000 was raised during this year’s edition of the Poi Lam High School Ipoh Food Fair. This event, coupled with the school’s 56th Anniversary drew over a hundred participating stalls, manned by parents, students andpublic alike. Funds raised contributed to school’s facility upgrades and continuing education.

Held at Yee Lee Trading in Kuala Lumpur, the Group lent a shoulder of support to Mercy Malaysia by donating 168 units of ear thermometers for use in providing medical relief and to sustain the health requirements of the communitiesin need. This generous donation amounting to RM20,000 is another example of the Group’s commitment to ensure the betterment of their surrounding communities.

MorningKiss once again co-sponsored this dental convention organised by the Malaysian Dental Association. The convention welcomed thousands of guests for this year’s theme of ‘Clinical Dentistry: Today and Beyond’. The event, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, was officiated by the Honorable Secretary General of the Ministry of Health, Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Sri Dr. Hj. Mohd Nasir Bin Mohd Ashraf.

Yee Lee sponsored the noteworthy Spritzer-KRI Scenic 12km Run in December last year. Organised by the Kelab Roadrunners Ipoh, the run saw 600 Malaysians take to the streets and run to raise awareness about the importance of healthy living.

Yee Lee has been the main sponsor of Poi Lam High School’s events for over 10 years. The Poi Lam High School Food Fair and the school’s 55th Anniversary raised more than RM400,000, which will be channelled towards upgrading school facilities and continuing education.

Sabah Tea was a main sponsor at the Jamuan Teh Malaysia which successfully raised RM130,000 for The Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) and National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM). The funds will be channelled towards minimising the threat of cancer through public education on cancer prevention and the importance of early diagnosis.

The Fire Prevention Centre gave a talk to Yee Lee staff members at the Yee Lee HQ on the importance and education of fire safety. The talk equipped those who attended with the knowledge of how one can prevent fire from breaking out and the necessary measures in case of a fire emergency.

Yee Lee Recreation & Sports Club once again demonstrated its zeal to promote healthyliving amongst Yee Lee staff members when it organised a health talk about the Importance of General Screening “Cholesterol, Diabetic& Helicobacter" by Mr Edwin Singhe, Lab Manager of Doctors Lab. The Club also brought together Yee Lee staff to donate blood at the Yee Lee HQ.

MorningKiss was a co-sponsor at this dental convention organised by the Malaysian Dental Association and officiated by the honourable Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Y. A. B. Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin bin Mohd Yassin. The convention saw 3,000 dental professionals and dental students throng the venue in this year’s theme, “New Trend, New Technology, NewImpact in Dentistry."

Almost 7,000 participants walked at the Relay For Life event, sponsored by Yee Lee, to raise public awareness about cancer. The event was organised by the National Cancer Society of Malaysia.

The non-profit organisations Ipoh Bug and the children and families in need from Hannah Home received much needed help through this fund raising event, sponsored by Sabah Tea and Yee Lee. The event was a success with the attendance of 1,000 participants and RM40,000 raised.

Organised by Yee Lee’s own Recreation and Sports Club, the Yee Lee Charity Car Wash raised a total of RM888, which has been donated to the International Relief Fund for its work in disaster relief campaigns.

Not one to focus merely on external contributions, Yee Lee hosted undergraduates from local universities at the Sabah Tea Training Room as they educated 85 of Yee Lee’s staff on the importance of food quality and how eating habits can affect one’s health. The two-day event involved a talk session, info and food sample exhibition, and analysis on Estimated Energy Requirement, Body Mass Index and Waist-Hip Ratio Measurement.

Themed ‘1 Malaysia – New Economic Model’, the conference, which was launched by our Prime Minister Y.A.B. Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak alongside Dato’ Lim Kok Cheong, Tan Sri William Cheng and Mr Ter Leong Yap,brought together some of our nation’s top experts, entrepreneurs and national legislators.

Yee Lee Recreation and Sports Club regularly represents Yee Lee and its staff in its charity and corporate social responsibility efforts. Members of the club visited old folks home Cherri Villa and Bengkel Semangat Maju to distribute essential goods in kind to the underprivileged.

Yee Lee, being the main sponsor for KRI’s 21st Anniversary Annual Trail Run has sponsoredrefreshments, goodies bags, lucky draw prizes and trophies worth RM15,000. This event attracted more than 600 participants, both local and overseas.

In conjunction with Poi Lam High School’s 54th Anniversary, Yee Lee has supported a fundraisingFood Fair for the school. Yee Lee, consecutively been Poi Lam’s most staunch supporter for the past 20 years. This event has successfully raised a total of RM368,000.

Walk the Talk. All Yee Lee staff put their hands together to raise fund for the poor and unfortunates. All the funds collected goes to Semangat Maju Workshop and Cherri Villa.

The launching of a Collaborative Community Service Project by Malaysian Dental Association (MDA) and Malaysian Armed Forces Dental Division with the support of MorningKiss, Yee Lee’s brand of oral care which aimed to increase publicawareness on gum and tooth health issues.

In the event of sustaining and pre serving the environ ment, Yee Lee undertakes concerted efforts in waste management through Waste Management Committee.

During Yee Lee’s 40th Anniversary, Long Services Employee Award has been awarded to those who have been with Yee Lee for more than 25 years, as a token of appreciation for their contribution and loyalty.
