
To advocate the importance of recycling, Yee Lee Recreation and Sports Club collected used, unwanted and recyclable items from employees on “Recycle, Clean & Clear Day”.

Yee Lee employees have provided support to the blood bank by joining the Blood Donation Campaign being organised by Yee Lee Recreation and Sports Club.

Yee Lee contributed goods and donated cash to the Tabung Banjir 2021 PWPP being organised by Pertubuhan Wanita Prihatin Perak.

Members of the Yee Lee Recreation and Sports Club visited an orphanage and sponsored Yee Lee products to assist those children in need.

Yee Lee contributed to the full refurbishment of a gathering area in Lata Ulu Chepor. Through this activity, the picnic area was not only being cleaned, but the event had provided an opportunity for family members to gather and spend precious time with each other.

Yee Lee was one of the sponsors for this event to promote sports and to encourage a healthy lifestyle in the society.

The event was conducted by the Yee Lee Recreation and Sports Club at Yee Lee HQ, Ipoh, with the aim of raising funds to help the charities by washing staff cars.

The Yee Lee Recreation and Sports Club had organised a recycling event to promote environmental awareness and raising funds to help the needy.

The members of the Yee Lee Recreation and Sports Club paid a visit and donated essential goods to the Handicapped Children’s Welfare Association in Perak.

No one deserves to go hungry in this day and age! Both Yee Lee Corporation Bhd and Spritzer Bhd jointly sponsored RM5,000 in cash as a contribution towards 130,000 dehydrated rice/soy meal packs for the needy, homeless and towards orphanages. This event was jointly organised by Vistage Malaysia, Stop Hunger Now Malaysia and Crystal Edge.

Yee Lee Recreation & Sports Club has been particularly busy this year, arranging both Family Day and Paintball Games for all staff. Family Day this year saw 133 staff and their families enjoy a fun-filled day at The Lost World of Tambun, Ipoh. Whilst an outing of fun, team-building, strategy and competition was the measure of the day for paintball games, with a total of 8 teams and 40 participants scheming and shoting each other to find the eventual winner.

Yee Lee Group sponsored an amount of RM30,000 for the ‘Climb Beyond Disabilities’ event at Mt Kinabalu. As the participants were steadily ascending their way up the mountain, they were comforted in the knowledge that funds raised were going directly to different OKUs, some of which included the blind, spastic, those with Downs Syndrome and others of varying forms of disabilities.

Yee Lee Group, this year sponsored goods-in-kind to the values of RM32,675 for the KRI 12km Run 2011. The scenic run through Taman Rekreasi Sultan Abdul Aziz (Polo Ground) raised fund of RM9,600 for the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM). Around 1,350 participated to jointly create cancer awareness amongst the public.

Sabah Tea once again sponsored Jamuan Teh Malaysia to raise awareness and funds for the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia and the National Cancer Society Malaysia. All contributions garnered will go directly towards public education on the importance of early detection and preventative measures to minimize the threat of cancers.

A total of RM260,000 was raised during this year’s edition of the Poi Lam High School Ipoh Food Fair. This event, coupled with the school’s 56th Anniversary drew over a hundred participating stalls, manned by parents, students andpublic alike. Funds raised contributed to school’s facility upgrades and continuing education.

Held at Yee Lee Trading in Kuala Lumpur, the Group lent a shoulder of support to Mercy Malaysia by donating 168 units of ear thermometers for use in providing medical relief and to sustain the health requirements of the communitiesin need. This generous donation amounting to RM20,000 is another example of the Group’s commitment to ensure the betterment of their surrounding communities.

MorningKiss once again co-sponsored this dental convention organised by the Malaysian Dental Association. The convention welcomed thousands of guests for this year’s theme of ‘Clinical Dentistry: Today and Beyond’. The event, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, was officiated by the Honorable Secretary General of the Ministry of Health, Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Sri Dr. Hj. Mohd Nasir Bin Mohd Ashraf.

Sabah Tea was a main sponsor at the Jamuan Teh Malaysia which successfully raised RM130,000 for The Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) and National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM). The funds will be channelled towards minimising the threat of cancer through public education on cancer prevention and the importance of early diagnosis.

Yee Lee Recreation & Sports Club once again demonstrated its zeal to promote healthyliving amongst Yee Lee staff members when it organised a health talk about the Importance of General Screening “Cholesterol, Diabetic& Helicobacter" by Mr Edwin Singhe, Lab Manager of Doctors Lab. The Club also brought together Yee Lee staff to donate blood at the Yee Lee HQ.

MorningKiss was a co-sponsor at this dental convention organised by the Malaysian Dental Association and officiated by the honourable Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Y. A. B. Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin bin Mohd Yassin. The convention saw 3,000 dental professionals and dental students throng the venue in this year’s theme, “New Trend, New Technology, NewImpact in Dentistry."

Not one to focus merely on external contributions, Yee Lee hosted undergraduates from local universities at the Sabah Tea Training Room as they educated 85 of Yee Lee’s staff on the importance of food quality and how eating habits can affect one’s health. The two-day event involved a talk session, info and food sample exhibition, and analysis on Estimated Energy Requirement, Body Mass Index and Waist-Hip Ratio Measurement.

Themed ‘1 Malaysia – New Economic Model’, the conference, which was launched by our Prime Minister Y.A.B. Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak alongside Dato’ Lim Kok Cheong, Tan Sri William Cheng and Mr Ter Leong Yap,brought together some of our nation’s top experts, entrepreneurs and national legislators.
